NUTTY SLICE

A Delicious crumbly nutty shortcake slice covered with smooth chocolate

Topping
1 1/2 cup Peanut butter
2 tbsp Maple syrup
1/4 cup Coconut oil
4 tsp Vanilla
1 tsp Salt
Shortcake
1 cup almond flour
2 cups brown spelt flour
4 tbsp maple syrup
6 tbsp coconut oil
2 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
Method
Shortcake
Pre heat oven to 160c gas mark 3
In a mixing bowl add spelt flour, almond flour and salt and stir
Then add coconut oil, maple syrup and vanilla
Combine all the ingredients together until you get a crumble like mixture.
spread the mixture evenly onto a lined baking tray and bake in the oven for around 20 mins
Topping
In a bowl combine all the ingredients together
Once the shortcake base has cooled, spread the peanut topping onto the base and freeze for around 20 mins
Next melt some vegan chocolate in a bowl and spread onto of the peanut an enjoy :)
