MORINGA PESTO

A delicious, fresh, herby and nutty pesto. Perfect accompaniment to pasta, vegetables, salads or anything you like. Added extra complete proteins from the hemp and moringa give this dish that extra health kick.


INGREDIENTS 2 cups fresh basil 2 tbsp cashew nuts 3 tbsp pinenuts 2 medium garlic cloves 3 tbsp nutritional yeast 2 tbsp shelled hemp seeds 1 tbsp moringa powder 1 tbsp lemon juice 125 ml virgin olive oil Salt and pepper to taste METHOD In a food processor add basil, pine nuts, garlic, nutritional yeast, hemp seeds, moringa and lemon juice. Blend all ingredients together whilst adding a little olive oil at a time If needed add additional water


STORAGE Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week
