400g coconut milk
1/2 cup coconut sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp coconut oil
In a sauce pan place coconut milk, coconut sugar, salt stir and bring to the boil then on a low heat, let cook for 30 - 40 mins (this will allow it to get thick)
Stir the sauce occasionally and make sure you keep an eye on it
Once thickened, remove from the heat and add coconut oil and vanilla and enjoy your salted Carmel sauce. I like mine on just about everything especially my homemade coconut yoghurt.
